Smith's Beach, Margaret River, W.A.
The southern stretch of Smith's Beach. Working for photos I had taken on a trip a few years back, I attempted to capture the dramatic, highly reflective granite and limestone coastal crags, clashing with the deep indigo, emerald, and cerulean hues of the Indian Ocean. It's sparkling bleach-white sand shelves drop down into calm shallow waters of the ocean. The light seems more intense here, the beach more reflective in this deep south curve of coastline.
